I was able to register new battery and scan for error codes. My sunroof is not functioning which is common on these models. I was able to close it manually but shade motor is hard to access. I was able to activate shade motor and close the shade right away. Scanner paid for itself just performing that’s two tasks.

I bought a used 2011 Mercedes E-350 Cabriolet, that had an issue where the drivers window would come halfway down after raising it. You had to mess with it 2-3 times to get it to stay up. Also the rear window wouldn't index. I went through all the window indexing fixes dozens of times. Took it to the place where I bought it and they couldn't fix it either. Not even the local garage. After reviewing many code scanners, I decided on the Foxwell NT510 Elite. It took a while to figure out how to get to the place I needed to get to to test and control the windows by making them go up and down using the device, but once I got there, the bi-directional control mode was awesome. I "denormalized" the window, then reset it. Then both windows started working again. Pretty cool you can make the door locks, lights, seats, and almost any function operate to test them. Who knows, maybe I can control and drive the car remotely? I didn't try the windows on the test drive because it was 98 degrees, so I bought it before noticing the issue. The non-Mercedes dealer tried to ge

Took a few minutes to figure out how to get it to auto recognize the vehicle (key needs to be in second ignition position, not the first). Once in the system, there is a lot of information in your car. Feature that attracted me to this unit was ability to toggle certain systems thru the unit: I.e. it lets you open and shut your Charcoal Cannister Valve/open shut Purge valve. I was willing to pay more than the simplest ($100) units because I wanted bidirectional control...this has that ability. Liked that this was specific to MB, and it worked great on my ML500 from 2002. I recognized some of the old codes that had been previously tripped and repaired, and it was able to help diagnosed my vacuum leak and clear the code. Paid for itself on the first use, as dealer wanted $200 to test/clear the code. My advise: don't try to upload any new software, until you are very familiar with using the unit. The software my came with did all I needed it to do: the new update risked wiping the system (would be bad). Update 2023: I have three MBs, this works on them all. 2002/2014/20

Not only did it find problems, but this can do permanent i air suspension height asjustments. You just need to lock in your measurements correctly to get the best results. Although, I did have problems with the registration of the product, the seller was kind and honest enough to help fix my issues. They stuck with me 'til the problem was resolved. Overall, great product with a kind and honest seller.

Not to mention that the software is really problematic for your computer with the programs it unnecessarily loads, and then does not uninstall all of itself. In fact, on 3 systems tested, it left the majority program installed. There are some usability issues: you HAVE to have an internet connection to use the unit (software requires you to log into their website first) and get your data and updates. No thanks. It installs Microsoft Edge- even if you have it disabled. The data port on the side for a microxd card (required) is darn near impossible to use. You have to remove the rubber shock cover to get to it. The software keeps wanting to use a different drive on my computer to try to write to and accessing the mem card on the unit requires that you disconnect any hardwired ethernet connections- it traffics a bunch of data needlessly over wireless. With all of the privacy concerns regarding software out of China, they need to go the extra mile to make sure to be transparent, and make sure all software is uninstalled correc

Purchased an old W220 S500 which showed no “check engine” light, SRS, or ABS faults on the dash. I did have some marker lights and suspension messages in the instrument cluster. Being that I had a wonderful BlueDriver scanner which has worked wonders as a bi-directional scanner for my GM vehicles, I figured it would be great for my Benz... nope. The BlueDriver couldn’t communicate, though their website confirms it worked. Started following the different Benz forums to find the best scanner. What I learned, the Mercedes Star software was the best solution, but good luck finding one for under $2k. Then I looked into the Autel high-end versions, but didn’t want to spend $800+ and pay annual fees. I came across this Foxwell on sale during Christmas time on Amazon. I discovered it was bi-directional and came Pre-loaded with the Make of choice with the option to buy other brands (BMW, VW/Audi, and more). Best it didn’t have an annual fee to keep it working. Once received I was able to diagnose the 60ish modules my 2006 S500 had, learning that I had about 30 faults... yikes! No

Cheaper scanners will only clear soft codes. This joker clears hard codes. A "dealer" in a box ! I love it and has paid itself off already. Cleared transmission hard code and then my ECU. All cleared ! It does a hundred things AFTER you enter your VIN. ♥️♥️♥️
