The FOXWELL NT510 Elite is a brand-focused full-system scanner with bi-directional control, service resets, and deep module coverage for a single vehicle family. This unit is configured and updated specifically for Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge.
Whether you are troubleshooting a check engine light, preparing for an emissions test, or performing scheduled maintenance, the NT510 Elite gives you the module access and service functions you need without booking a dealer appointment. On-screen menus walk you through each step, and stored scan reports help you track repairs over time.
The NT510 Elite helps you identify root causes faster by reading fault codes, live sensor values, and module status across the systems it supports:
Beyond reading codes, this scanner runs guided service routines that save money on dealer labor. Available functions depend on your vehicle make, model, and year:
The NT510 Elite communicates with manufacturer-specific modules over the OBD2 port. Use bi-directional tests to activate fans, fuel pumps, and actuators for hands-on troubleshooting. Service functions reset maintenance indicators and perform relearn procedures that normally require a dealer visit.
Designed exclusively for Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge. Built for one manufacturer platform — confirm your exact make, model, and year before ordering. Not compatible with other brands.
Always verify that your exact year, make, model, and engine combination is supported before purchase — especially for service resets, bi-directional tests, and brand-specific modules. OBD2 port location is typically under the driver-side dashboard on U.S. vehicles from 1996 onward.
Owners of a specific marque (BMW, GM, Honda, etc.) who want dealer-grade diagnostics without monthly subscriptions.
If you regularly work on your own vehicles, run a small repair shop, or buy used cars to flip, the NT510 Elite pays for itself quickly compared to per-visit dealer diagnostics.
FOXWELL has built a reputation for professional-grade automotive diagnostics at a fraction of dealer scan-tool prices. Unlike many subscription-based tools, FOXWELL scanners include free or lifetime firmware updates, clear on-screen DTC definitions, and responsive customer support — making them a practical choice for home garages and independent shops alike.
USB. Lifetime free updates. Keep firmware current to maintain the widest vehicle coverage and access to newly added service functions.

This is a great item, Im a 40 year Master mechanic and Millwright I know what works and what doesn't, this tool is very functional, and easy to use and does a great job. I'm impresses as its not alot of money, I have and use more expensive readers that are no better than this one, and had I known they do the same things I could have saved money!

The Foxwell NT510 Elite when combined with a security gateway bypass cable is a must for an ecodiesel jeep. It gives you access to all the individual controllers on the vehicle and access to built-in test functions that typically requires a visit tot he dealership. I was able to do a commanded regen of the DPF with this scan tool. Highly recommend for a serious DIYer.

I’ve been trying to find a decent priced obd2 tool to “quicklearn” my 68rfe transmission in a 2013 6.7 Cummins ram 2500 . Literally the only other diagnostic tools that will do this are minimum $800-$900. At first it did not work and brought up a error code. I basically had already given up and didn’t really care at this point but decided to email their customer service. We emailed back and forth, sent a video of issue and next day send me a patch for the device. Plugged it into truck started her up and went to “quicklearn” the transmission. It scared the hell out of me cause I wasn’t expecting it to work but sure enough the trucks rpms skyrocketed and you could feel the transmission going through all the clutches! Great customer service! Seriously thanks again, saved me hundreds of dollars.

That wasnt in it, I get my own SD card and find out, there is NO CARD READER IN THIS DEVICE! Theres a slot for where the card reader SHOULD be, and there is nothing there! Just a gaping hole in the device that has nothing in it. This thing also refuses to connect to the internet. It works good for scanning trouble codes and doing live data but I didnt get what I paid for which is very disappointing. I expected more from Foxwell...you website is pretty non functional and the device repeatedly refuses to connect to my wifi even when I'm standing right next to the router. So I went with a topdon topscan pro to replace this and I'm never buying foxwell again. Minimal effort to make or maintain these devices.

Though it functions rather clumsily in my opinion. Couldn't figure out how to retrieve a saved document after it's been disengaged from a power source, since there is no back up power supply. There is no built-in card slot either, so how can it store anything? Couldn't function with the website after registering, either. And there is plenty of poor English grammar on view screens. It seems like It's already been outdated and improved upon to a more current device, (NT530).

I had written a review previously stating that I would return the product due to poor tech support and false advertising. Since then I have received amazing tech-support to help me try to solve my issue and they explained that the email address I had tried was not the correct one which is why they hadn’t responded. The scanner still did not complete the task I needed it to, but their tech-support has been very responsive and helpful since then. I think this is a great product, just not the right one for my project.
